Three years ago, I embarked on a journey of healthy living, not focusing on losing weight, but focusing on reducing stress, helping others and living happily. Is the number on the scale the only indication of health? Healthy to me is feeling good in your body, mind and spirit. I, and many other overweight and obese people can tell you, body image issues negatively affect your body, mind and spirit causing emotional pain, anxiety, and depression. And isn’t emotional pain, anxiety and depression unhealthy?
